Josh Vitters is in a real hole for his new season.  The No. 3 overall pick in the 2007 draft has to make a splash in spring training.  He has watched many other prospects, such as Javier Baez and Jorge Soler, come up and pass in Triple A.  Brett Jackson and him have been in the organization for many years, but have struggled to make the transition.

One of Josh Vitters' main emphasis this spring training is hitting.  When he got called up to the big leagues he struggled to hit.  Last year he only hit .213 in the minor leagues.  In order to move up and get more playing time in spring training, he will have to hit over .275.  His fielding could make the big leagues, but he has to step up his hitting.
